Our History

In February 1973, Cactus Enterprises, a sole-proprietorship, was started by a young man with a pick-up truck, $2500 in savings and a desire to start a tile business.   The business may have started in a small office located in the back of his parent’s home, but with hard work, intense determination and a dream, Cactus Stone & Tile grew to be the premier destination for the best porcelain tile and an extreme collection of exotic natural stone slabs from all over the world.

With over 50 years of continuous operations, we’ve learned much, traveled far, and made life-long friendships with manufacturers, block cutters and stone quarriers the world over.  Images from our past.   With each, there’s a story.
